I'm sorry, people! Let's Just Talk About Hide-y Holes Again!

I spent yesterday morning cleaning up a storm and then I had to do a little relaxing with my mom, Emery, and Cora. A blog post did not happen. It is now 10pm and I am T-I-R-E-D. I promise you there will be a good post up on Wednesday and things will get back to normal next week, after our house is officially on the market.

Until then, would you like to enjoy a few random photos along with another wonderful birthday shout-out?

A few months ago I wrote a post about hidden places in houses and today I have one more secret little hide-y hole to show you. When I was a kid we had a Fisher-Price doll house with all those tiny people and lots of furniture. My mom had it out for Cora recently and I saw a piece of the house that I remember being obsessed with. It is definitely a big part of what fueled my love for little cubby hole spaces.

Does anyone remember this?

I cannot explain to you how much I loved this thing. As soon as I set my eyes on it a whole new world opened up. I was constantly checking under people's stairs to see if they housed such awesome little spaces. Results: some did; most did not. The 3 most prominent real life under the stair spaces were at my aunt and uncle's house, at my sister's best friend's house, and at my best friend, Christina's house.

Well, now you know about this exciting part of my life. I hope it has filled a void for you.

And, last, but never ever least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL MAMA!!!! I love you and will try to help you have a wonderful birthday! Thanks for celebrating by playing with Cora and cleaning my house!

  3. Thank you for the lovely birthday wishes - I had a wonderful birthday with Laura, Scott, Cora & Emery. Cora sang Happy Birthday to me and Laura & Scott treated us to Dean & Deluca take-out. It was delicious!
Thank you Laura, you did make my day special.
