Valentine's Day Crafts: Part 1

Ehhh... well... yes, I did just start this post with a photo of a heart shaved into a man's hairy back. It was a risky move, but I think you liked it!

Let's move on quickly from the last photo! 

Have you all figured out that I am a sucker for banners yet? Well, I am!

No one in the history of the world has ever said no to peppermint bark... especially when it comes in the shape of a heart!

I'm not sure why this dog needed to be made out of hearts, but I'm not one to turn a paper dog in need away!

You can't fool me into thinking that this art should only be hung up during the month of February. It is too awesome for that!

A Mikey J valentine's card. This is not so much a craft, but it is fantastic! Isn't it funny to think back to the Valentine's cards you used to get in your box at school. I have to say that "Have a great day, champ" means "Ehhhh my mom said I had to give you a card. So, here you go."

One more old school Valentine's Day card. Did anyone else have really fond memories of The Get Along Gang?

I love paper chain almost as much as I love banners! This one was done particularly well!

Leave it to Martha to come up with a super cute idea like this one made from wax paper and crayons! 

Here is Cora in her heart shirt. When you ask her what is on her shirt she will say "Har" and then scream "BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM" and beat her chest like Godzilla. My mom taught her that hearts go "boom boom." Cora interpreted that in a new way.

ps I did one of my fancy camera tricks and made it look like her hand belongs to a full grown adult.
